About Artwork
Life's turning points often come suddenly.
The choice to go to a museum, which I had little interest in as a child.
Then the decision to pursue a career in painting.
When I was in the workforce, when I discussed with them that I was thinking of retiring in six months, they simply cut me off and said, "The end of this month is fine.
Then I started YouTube.
For this artwork, I painted a carp that was able to learn about the outside world because it happened to spill paint.
Many things that happen by chance, or choices made casually, can lead to life-changing events in the future.
